Hello to all my friends new and old:
I have created this blog so I can share with all who are interested my views on the weird wide world. In the past few years I have become quite the conservative political junkie & my opinions have become rather vocal. I would like to invite your opinions, pro or con, to my blog as well. There are a few ground rules that I'm sure won't be a problem for all the adults out there.
1. No personal attacks on contributors to the blog. If you disagree with someones' opinion, argue your point - not the intelligence or patriotism of the writer.
2. No foul language - as grownups we can express ourselves without vulgar words.
3. Have fun. That's an order. If you want to post something unrelated to politics or other current events, please feel free. Talk about your great kids, pets, causes, etc. And anybody who doesn't like that, please refer back to rule #1.
I hope this reaches as many people as possible, I am anxious to see how far this will go. This is my first attempt at something like this and I'm a tiny bit nervous about how it will be received, but excited as well. So here goes, River City Conservative Voices is alive and well on the web. Have fun - remember that's an order!
